Sponsor post: SF Beta announces global expansion to six major cities

Known for its themed startup exhibits (past participants include Facebook, Xobni and Justin.tv), perennially sold-out crowds and sightings of (often rather drunk) VCs, SF Beta has attracted thousands of Silicon Valley’s movers and shakers to its signature evening mixers for more than half a decade.

Now its parent company, Beta Ltd., led by Executive Producer Christian Perry, will bring the event’s winning formula — “pitches and pints, minus the PowerPoint” — to a half-dozen of the world’s most innovative cities.

Full event schedule:

San Francisco, CA — Tuesday, Sept. 13

Boulder, CO — Thursday, Sept. 15

Seattle, WA — Tuesday, Oct. 11

New York, NY — Thursday, Oct. 20

Boston, MA — Tuesday, Oct. 25

Dublin, IE — Thursday, Nov 17

“People fly to SF Beta from across the world. Now we’re bringing the party to them,” says Perry, who, in addition to his role at Beta Ltd., serves as the producer of MIT’s summer musical, Steven Sondheim’s Assassins. (Shows run this and next weekend.)

“Come to Assassins,” says Perry. “Then come to a Beta mixer near you.”
