If you’re not in a hotel meeting room, you’re probably downloading or have already downloaded the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. If so, you can play with three new Bing apps: Finance, Weather, and Maps. The Bing team has posted on the new apps, in conjunction with the Windows 8 blog posts that went live this morning with the launch of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Like the other apps that come with the Consumer Preview, the Bing apps are included, although nothing has been said about what or how either Microsoft or 3rd party apps will be included in the final versions of Windows 8, expected to be released this holiday season.
The apps are available with the Windows 8 consumer preview.
