With a few days to go until the official Windows Phone 8 launch event, Huawei, one of the four launch partners announced during the Windows Phone Summit, has yet to reveal their Windows Phone 8 lineup. Earlier this month, images of the Huawei Ascend W1 Windows Phone 8 device was leaked to the web, and it was reported that the device might be announced during the October 29 event. However, later rumors suggests that due to US political factors, the Chinese manufacturer might be absent during the launch event.
This doesn’t mean Huawei hasn’t been producing and testing Windows Phone 8 devices however. The latest leaks comes from PCOnline who managed to grab hold of images of a new Huawei Windows Phone 8 device. Check them out below:
This device is clearly different from the Ascend W1 that we’ve seen before, suggesting that Huawei might have a few more devices up its sleeves (Ascend W2 perhaps?). However, the device name, as well as specifications of the device, are all currently unknown, although from the images above the device does somewhat resemble Huawei’s Ascend P1 Android device, which comes with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3” Super AMOLED screen, 1GB RAM, as well as 8 megapixel camera.
