Details of the Nokia Lumia 928 was first revealed back in January this year, and was later on “confirmed” via a FCC listing later in March. It was reported that the device will come with specifications akin to the Nokia Lumia 920 – with a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 32GB of storage, 1GB of RAM. However, the Lumia 928 will utilize a 4.5 inch OLED display instead of the Lumia 920’s IPS LCD screen. The Lumia 928 will also come with an 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with OIS technology, however in addition to LED flash a new Xenon flash module has also been added, as evident in the renders above.

The Nokia Lumia 928 is said to be slightly thinner than the Lumia 920, measuring 10.2mm at its thinnest point (compared to 10.7mm), and due to this also slightly lighter. However, contrary to previous reports, the Lumia 928 will still come with a polycarbonate body rather than aluminium body.

The Verge reports that the Lumia 928 will be announced during April this month on Verizon Wireless, with support for the network’s Simultaneous Voice and LTE (SVLTE). The device will ship with the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update.
