Microsoft China has promoted a limited time offer in China. Before May 31st, you will get a Touch Cover or Type Cover for free when you buy a Surface RT through all Surface sales channels, including Microsoft China online store, the Tmall store, JD.com, Suning etc.
The free Surface Cover offer is simple:
- Surface RT (cover not included): one free Touch Cover (originally $ 119.99)
- Surface RT (black Touch Cover included): one free Touch Cover or Type Cover (originally $ 129.99)
No word if this offer will be expanded to Surface Pro or other countries.
Microsoft China already started selling Surface RT back in October last year and Surface Pro and Surface China edition earlier this month in China. Microsoft also sells 5 unique Surface back skin stickers exclusively in China. Obviously China market is a priority for Surface team.
