In little over a decade the tech startup landscape has changed drastically. At GigaOM Roadmap 2012 Evan Williams, the current CEO of The Obvious Corporation, discussed what has changed in the timespan between the launch of his first startup, Blogger, to Twitter.
According to Williams, “We’re all more sophisticated. The industry is more sophisticated and therefore it’s just a hell of a lot more work — and it’s a different kind of work.” That means he’s graduated from duct-taping servers to designing interfaces that are beautiful and function across platforms.
