“Big data” is a big thing right now, but what’s being done with it and why? This was the subject of a wide-ranging panel discussion at Structure Europe 2012 on Wednesday. GigaOM senior writer Derrick Harris moderated, and the panellists included King.com data warehousing director Mats-Olov Eriksson, IBM big data product management VP Phil Francisco and GoodData platform VP Zdenek Svoboda.
