Think, a 20-year-old Norwegian electric car maker, plans to bring 500 of its boxy all-electric cars, the Think City, to fleets in the U.S. this year, followed by a larger consumer launch in the U.S. in 2011. Originally backed by Ford Motors in the late 90′s, Think has teetered on the brink of bankruptcy, but recently has been recapitalized (with plans for a U.S. factory) and currently sells the Think City in Europe. For this week’s episode of Green Overdrive, we got the rare opportunity to take one of the plastic-bodied Think City cars out for a test drive around San Jose, Calif.
