Ilya Zhitomirskiy, one of the co-founders of Diaspora, an open source social networking platform established to take on Facebook has passed away at the tender age of 21, reports Techcrunch. No further details were available. I am speechless. I met Ilya on a couple of occasions and am having a tough time coming to grips with the news. Our hearts and prayers go to his family, friends and the Diaspora community.
