Where to watch Lollapalooza live online

Summertime is music-festival time, and there are few festivals as popular as Lollapalooza, which is returning to Chicago once again this weekend for its 20th anniversary. That’s right — it’s really been 20 years since Jane’s Addiction front man Perry Farrell started the festival. Back in the old days, Lollapalooza toured the country, but these days, it will be available everywhere, thanks to live streaming online.

YouTube will stream close to 40 performances, including headliners Coldplay, The Kills, Ween, Noah and the Whale, the Arctic Monkeys and the Foo Fighters. The fun starts at 1:30 PT on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the full schedule can be found on the YouTube Lollapalooza channel.

The live stream will once again include Twitter and Facebook integration, but viewers who already have access to Google+ can also join their friends in a real-time Hangouts group video chat to watch the live stream together.
