For those of you who owns a Nokia Lumia Windows Phone handset, you’d have enjoyed the exclusive free transport and navigation apps provided by Nokia. The company only just released Nokia Drive 2.0 and Nokia Transport at Mobile World Congress 2012 back in February, and today details about the upcoming version of both apps have been leaked by the Russian website WP7forum.ru. Below are the details, including screenshots:
Nokia Drive 3.0
New features in Nokia Drive 3.0:
- The application "learns" based on the style of driving
- The journey time and density of traffic movements are tracked in real time, displaying information on the Live Tiles
- Automatic determination of time of day, with the change of color scheme
- Manual adjustment of routes
- Offline favorites with an opportunity to pinning the tile on the Start screen
Nokia Transport 2.0
New features in Nokia Transport 2.0:
- Search for public transport relative to the location of the user
- Display of a nearby transport: buses, trains, trams, subway, taxis, marked stops
- Show the route with transfers
- Support timetables in 87 countries around the world
- Support for fast access to Favorites
- Advanced search
- Saving query history
- Modify the query without a new routing
- Faster search and route
- Optimized application performance
No details were revealed by WP7forum.ru as to when we can expect these apps to arrive, but we’re hoping these to come soon.
