Tuning in to Mobile World Congress: our guide

If you remember, last year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona featured the unveiling of Windows Phone 7.  What will happen this year?  We just added a TweetBlender Twitter search for the hashtags #mwc and #mwc2011 in our sidebar so you can get a quick glance at the latest tweets (it updates every 5 minutes), and a tab for the MWC News feed in our Blogs We Like section, but there are other ways to stay tuned, too.

At the top of our list of things to watch is Steve Ballmer’s MWC 2011 keynote, which is being livestreamed from Spain, at 4pm Barcelona time on Monday, February 14 (find your local time for this event):

You can watch the keynote live at www.mobileworldlive.com.

Our new friends at Nokia are also making their presence known at MWC, holding a press briefing at 6:30 pm on Sunday Feb 13th (your local time), we’ll be keeping an eye out on Nokia’s press releases, and we’re sure the briefing will be well attended and tweeted!

Eric Schmidt of Google will also be keynoting, if you’re up for some Android love, his speech will be livestreamed as well, starting at 5:45pm Tuesday, Feb 15 (your time).

Of course we’ll be posting on news coming from MWC as it comes out, including (we hope) confirmation of the March 8 debut of “NoDo”, but now you can follow along at home.  This should be fun!
