If you missed this morning’s Windows Phone 7 announcement from New York, it should be up on demand before too long, but after some opening remarks from Steve Ballmer and AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega, the focus quickly shifted to the phone itself, with a nice long demo by Joe Belfiore. The phone and the OS performed beautifully, and even when at one point networking issues failed to connect to Bing’s TellMe voice search feature, Belfiore calmly tried again, and it worked!
The press releases and marketing materials are coming out hot and heavy, with an Inside Windows Live post on Windows Phone and Windows Live (Hotmail, People, Photos, OneNote on SkyDrive), and some new video on YouTube, including a look at some of the devices available, quite a range of features:
