I’m Al Gore and I invented the internet.
This is very useful and informative video with nicely illustrated animations..
@nwoisnow That’s how the british say it.
google is great but, never search 911 truth, marijuana facts, or zackles
great video!
@JoeyTribiane yes yes he did 🙂
@McMichael96 yes you can just activate it for mobile devices and television on the same time and i don´t want to activate it for television.
@Joromano20 fuck you!
This is fun; thanks for making it.
Check out a video NASA made from when nobody knew what the Internet was: youtube: /watch?v=udQPfgMtBec
@GeekingForJesus I really liked it though. He explained it better than I’ve ever heard.
They still lose me when we think of going from EVERYTHING being physical, to things going virtual. Sure, I could easily pretend I understand it by using certain words, but how many people truly understand it? I think very few. Lead programmers today learned using on stuff that was already programmed. But how did the original programmers to it? It’s very confusing.
Until October, 1996, I knew not what the internet was, nor did I care. I happened to be visiting the UBC main library and was searching for the card catalogue. I was told that it had been replaced electronically. While the girl was leading me to it, I passed by a monitor with some colour graphics and asked whether that was it. The woman said, “No, that’s the internet.”
The internet is nothing less than the end of boredom and in very truth is the Mind of Man.
Nice
@xreddragonx OK they forgot to mention Youtube
@xreddragonx im not even going to bother arguing because most people, like you, dont take the words of others into consideration or even try to look at it from another perception.
This video was made by a someone who knows what they’re talking about. Not about some troll drooling at their computer, like the people arguing here thinking they know better than this guy.
For the people who still don’t get it. This movie is about the hardware development and change in communication that defines the internet we know today.
Starting a new successful website is NOT a great leap ahead in technological development, it is just another way of using ALREADY EXISTING technology.
Using something in a different way doesn’t make it a new invention. So stop nagging, this video is really accurate!
@xreddragonx umad?
Its interesting. The video didn’t mention ebay or online shopping, it didn’t mention instant messenger, didn’t mention streaming video or music…and there are obvious reasons for that. It even stopped at 1990 for fuck’s sake. Yet morons who can’t differentiate between internet and the world wide web still make sure to contribute their “witty” little (off-topic) insights here about “internetz pR0N!!1″…AND people even find it clever.
And lol at 92 fucking morons thumbing it up. Yea, technology has taken our species a long way.
@Coldinthacore You forgot to come up with an original and clever thought (or even just one relevant to the video, which is only a rundown of foundation technology) I’m sure you couldn’t just couldn’t wait to post this though, right?
@monsterEyesPro Awww, must have ruined your day. Although at least it gave you a chance to be “funny” by mentioning it.
@TheTrueMetal9 So the internet is responsible for negative human traits? Please.
THEY FORGOT HACKING! FUCKARS NONE OF U ARE /B/Rothers
As great as the Internet is, it has killed so may things that were a part of our lives
