Apple released updates to its Creator Studio apps that add AI-driven caption creation and tighter file sharing between Pixelmator Pro and other applications. The changes affect Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.
Final Cut Pro now includes Generate Captions, an on-device feature that creates subtitles from audio tracks. Users can apply animations along with custom fonts, colors, and positioning. A second tool called Edit Detection examines a rendered video and attempts to divide it back into its original clips.
Cross-App Integration
Pixelmator Pro gained direct links to Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages. From Final Cut Pro a user can export a single frame to Pixelmator Pro for thumbnail or social-graphic work. Inside Keynote, Numbers, or Pages an image can be opened in Pixelmator Pro; edits are written back to the source document without manual import steps.
